This public notice is also to request that any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the procurement program of this product should declare their intentions to that effect. (1) Name: (a) Large-scale plotter (b) Plotter printer (c) Scanner (2) Overview: (a) Large-scale plotter - The large-scale plotter plots drawing data on forms of Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) A0 to JIS A4 sizes. This device is directly connected to a LAN or it is indirectly connected to the LAN via a computer, etc. It has a function to receive and spool multiple jobs. (b) Plotter printer - The plotter printer prints out drawing or text data on forms of JIS A3 or JIS A4 size. This device is directly connected to a LAN or it is indirectly connected to the LAN via a computer, etc. It has a function to receive and spool multiple jobs. (c) Scanner - The scanner scans paper drawings of JIS A1 to JIS A4 sizes; it is controlled by the personal computer to which it is connected. This device contains controlling software and software that converts the data format of the scanned drawing data. (3) Contents of RFI: NTT requests the supply of the following information on similar products, or on technology relating to the product mentioned. All supplied information will be regarded as non-secret information and may be disclosed to third parties in the form of, for example, inclusion in the corresponding PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTATION, or may become available to third parties. After preparing a list of supplied information, NTT will provide the list to suppliers who wish to be provided with it, to those who have responded to the request for supply of the information listed and to those who have purchased the PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTATION relating to procurement of the product.
