Boyd (301) 619-4033 AFMLO/VASS is in the process of initiating a Request For Proposal (RFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, FOB Destination, for a Stereolithography System capable of creating, at a minimum, three-dimensional physical models used to fabricate custon titanium and acrylic resin implants, directly from a computer aided design, computer tomography, and/or magnetic resonance imaging files. Accuracy is essential and smoothing to minimize distortions is required. The solicitation will issue on or about 11/25/96 with a closing date on or about 12/31/96. All interested and responsible concerns are encouraged to provide a statement of interest, supporting evidence of their capability to provide such items, address, and point of contact.
