Patent and Trademark Office intends to to purchase maintenance for commercial software from SAS Institute, Inc. located at SAS Campus Drive, Cary, NC 27513 on a sole source basis for the continuation and renewal of PTOs site license #27151 for software maintenance for twelve months with two, 12 month options. The products covered by this maintenance agreement are for the following SAS products: Base SAS, SAS/FSP, SAS/Graph, SAS/STAT, SAS Connect, SAS/Acess and ADABAS. This requirement will be negotiated with BGS Systems of Vienna, VA who is the manufacturer and only provider per authority of FAR 6.301-1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format described in FAR part 12.6 as supplemented by additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation document as a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, 52-PAPT-7-00008, incorporates all required provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acq. Circular 90-42 as if stated in full text. The provisions of FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this solicitation. A completed Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items shall be submitted with proposal, in accordance with FAR 52.212-3. The award shall include the provisions of FAR 52.212-4.
