(404) 842-6785 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
contemplates awarding a contract to supply complex technical support
services to CDC, its grantees and other partners in the delivery of
HIV, STD, and TB prevention programs. The contractor will be required
to build the capacity of prevention programs and provide support in
planning, management, implementation, and evaluation of HIV, STD, and
TB prevention programs at the national, State, local, and international
levels. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating and
conducting complex surveys, focus groups, workshops, and evaluations.
Specifically, the contractor shall be required to perform complex
evaluation study designs; case studies; economic evaluations; data
collection and analysis; impact evaluations; on-site program
assessments; pilot studies; demonstration programs; formative research
services; and other related tasks. The contractor shall also be
responsible for design, development, and implementation of training
services for prevention programs including provision of curriculum
development, training aids, and need assessments. The anticipated
performance period for the entire contract is 60 months. The
solicitation request will be honored if received within 15 days of the
RFP issue date which will be on or about December 6, 1996. Requests
received after that date will be filled on a limited
first-come-first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. The date
specified for receipt of offers will be approximately 35 days after the
RFP issue date. Requests for the RFP must specify the RFP No.
