The U.S. Customs Service intends to award a non-competitive delivery order against GSA schedule GS-35F-0096D to Computer Associates, Reston, Virginia for CA-ENDEVOR Implementation Support. The requirement will involve technical support services to assist U.S. Customs Service in implementing a fully functional audit compliant Automated Life Cycle Configuration Management facility. The contractor will perform the following types of activities: design, develop, testing, training and implementation of CA-ENDEVOR Automated Software Life Cycle Management Facility. More specifically, CA will provide technical support in the following areas: a detailed description of new change mangement procedures based upon CA-E/MVS and how migration to the new controlled procedures will be achieved for the AES and ADMIN application systems, indentification and definition to CA-ENDEVOR, of all the logical software inventory structures and process required to control the AES and ADMIN applications within ENDEVOR environment, hte migration o the AES and ADMIN application source and related components to the new CA-ENDEVOR controlled environment, and employee training necessary to implement the remainder of the application portfolio into CA-ENDEVOR. This synopsis of intent shall not be considered a solicitation document. No award will be made solely on the basis of any response to this synopsis. Responsible sources capable of meeting this requirement may respond by furnishing clear and convincing information substantiating and the ability to satisfy the requirements, including technical and pricing data, GSA contract number (if appplicable) within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice. If no responses are received showing the comparable source is available at lower overall costs and and comparable technical qualifications/merit, a delivery order will be issued to Computer Associates.
