The National Naval Medical Center Bethesda MD has a requirement for the Nav Medical Information Management Center Bethesda for lodging services for the upcoming HIMSS Conference in San Diego. The National Naval Medical Center intends to award a sole sourced order to the Holiday Inn San Diego Bayside to cover the following requirements: (1) 6 rooms from 02/13/97 to 02/21/97; (2) 12 rooms from 02/15/97 to 02/21/97; and (3) 62 rooms from 02/16/97 to 02/20/97. The Holiday Inn San Diego Bayside is the only site which can meet all of the Government's requirements, i.e., (a) a block of 70 rooms for 5 nights, (b) daily shuttle bus service to and from the Convention Center from 15-20 Feb 97, (c) a daily meeting room for approximately 8-10 people from 15-20 Feb 97 and (d) meet the JTR lodging expense limits. Anticipated award date is 22 Nov 1996 - confirmation must be made by this date. This action is unrestricted. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be made in the form of a purchase order. (324)
