This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation RFQ 17-CM-97 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). Vendor shall provide Standard Textile Co. Bedspread/Blanket #78799143, or Equal. Bedspread/blanket is to be a durable, 100% cotton, lightweight item that provides warmth for hospital patients. Specifications of item referenced is provided for information: 100% cotton, all tufted terry construction, 10.9 ounces per square yard, 4.5 lbs each, 3/8'' hems on all four sides, therma clo value .987 or greater, closed weave, thread count 75 per warp, 50 per fill, yarn count is 12 per square inch for warp and fill, tensile strength 58 lbs per warp and 64 lbs per fill, extra long 74 inches x 108 inches, color - champagne. Deliver on an on-demand, as-needed basis through September 30, 1997. Quantity is estimated to be 300 each upon award of contract with an anticipated additional 300 - 600 later in the contract period.
