A -- PRODUCTION AND TESTING OF ADENOVIRUS VECTORS FOR CLINICAL USE Sol. RFP No. NIH-NIDR-10-97-3R. Due 011797. POC: Marion Blevins, 301/594-0652. The National Institute of Dental Research has a requirement for the generation, purification, and testing of stocks of replication-defective recombinant adenoviral vectors for use in Phase I clinical trials. In order to meet the requirements of this acquisition, the contractor must be able to: (1) establish and characterize a master cell bank of 293 cells, (2) test the virus inoculum (provided by the Government) and prepare and test a master virus bank, and (3) produce and test clinical-grade adenovirus vectors. This is an announcement for an anticipated Request for Proposal (RFP). RFP No. NIH-NIDR-10-97-3R will be available approximately December 10, 1996, with a closing date tentatively set for January 17, 1997.
