Marion Blevins, 301/594-0652. The National Institute of Dental
Research has a requirement for the generation and purification of
stocks of replication-deficient recombinant adenoviral vectors for the
study of gene control and protein function. The contractor will be
required to: 1. grow and purify plasmids containing adenovirus
sequences, 2. recombine plasmids to generate adenovirus vectors, and 3.
amplify isolated adenovirus plaques and purify them into virus stocks.
This is an announcement for an anticipated Request for Proposal (RFP).
RFP No. NIH-NIDR-10-97-2R will be available approximately December 10,
1996, with a closing date tentatively set for January 17, 1997. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by
