The Ground Services Manager shall provide terrestrial links and earth station uplink services to the Government-furnished transponder under a Task Order type contract and may also provide serive to a second Government-furnished INTELSAT transponder on the IS-703 satellite at 57 degrees East Longitude. Both transponders operate at C-band, are exclusively dedicated to USIA's Worldnet signal(s) and shall be fully saturated by the uplink signal. Other tasks may include monitoring of the satellite signals(s), and operation of the transponder(s) in an all digital, multiple carrier mode (SCPC and MCPC). Period of performance: April 1, 1997 through March 31, 1998 plus six (6) on-year options to renew.
