DeYoung, Contracting Officer (318) 424-6084 Physicist to provide monthly instrument calibrations and full annual calibrations for Clinac 6/100 Radiotherapy Linear Accelerator located at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport, LA for a period of one (1) year from the date of award with the option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year options, pending availability of funds. Service include performing dosimetric calculations, reviewing patient radiation therapy charts one a weekly basis, use of CMS planning computer, consultations with Radiation Therapist concerning therapy, patient planning and dosimetry and availability to the Radiation Therapist on an as-needed basis (response time 4 hours). The Overton Brooks Medical Center intends to continually recruit for the required services. In the event the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center recruitment efforts are successful the contract requirements will be reduced accordingly or terminated.
