J -- SMOKE EVACUATION TESTING, AJCC, FORT RITCHIE, MD SOL DACA31-97-T-0033 DUE 121896 POC Marianne Stakem at (410) 962-0972 This proposed procurement is a small business set-aside, SIC 1731, small business size standard $7.0 million. The Government intends to procure through Simplified Acquisition Method; acquisition is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Work consists of the testing and evaluation of the existing smoke evacuation system. The work shall include testing of each of the 27 smoke evacuation system exhaust fans, controls, interfaces with EMCS and other systems, and leakage tests. Following the testing, reports shall be submitted presenting the results of the testing, the deficiencies noted, and recommendations. All work is in a secured area and the contractor must possess or be able to obtain the necessary security clearances within 90 days.
