This PR is initiated to establish a three year requirements contract with two one year options to produce F-5 gearboxes by upgrading T- 38 gearboxes in accordance with the statement of work; in conjunction with the repair and or overhaul of T-38 and F-5 gearboxes in support of organic repair overload. The premise of the lean logistics program is to sustain a more responsive customer support system at less overall costs with leaner inventories by streamling the logistics process and expediting movement at every level.
