Other work includes provide a new natural gas emergency generator; 6 foot high chain link fence gate in an existing chain link perimeter fence; 500 linear feet of new 6-foot high PVC fence; performing site grating and clearing; providing a new pole mounted transformer and electrical connection to building; removing and replacing approx. 460 square years of bituminous concrete pavement; providing a 20'x20' bituminous concrete parking area; and incidental related work. SPECIAL NOTE: Even though the contract will be awarded in the middle of winter, there will be no winter suspension. Contractor will be required to order the prefab building after contract is awarded and have it delivered and installed as soon as possible after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The project is located at the Receiver Site Preparation, Communication Station Boston, Otis Air National Guard Base, Massachusetts. The estimated cost of the project is is between $100,000 and $250,000. Sic Code is 1799. Performance Time is 120 days. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provided an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term lending program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
