Furnish all plant, labor, materials and equipment to renovate the exterior of the U.S. Coast Guard Fire Fighting School located in Yorktown, VA. This project includes but is not limited to installing new vinyl siding and an elastomeric roof coating. This procurement will be conducted as a simplified acquisition as a request for written quotation. The anticipated award date is 13 January 1997. Actual on-site work shall be accomplished between 1 March and 31 March 1997. Contract performance period is 70 days after notice to proceed. This procurement is set-aside for small business. For the purpose of determining size status, a small business is one whose average annual receipts for the preceding three years does not exceed $7 million (SIC 1761). Payment bonds or alternative payment protection is required prior to receiving a notice to proceed. Solicitation packages will be available o/a 12 December 1996 for a nonrefundable fee of $5.00 per set; request will be honored until supply is exhausted. Written request must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard in the amount of $5.00; no telephone requests for solicitation packages will be accepted.
