Concerns having the ability for providing a community residential corrections facility(s) for Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, training opportunities and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Tucson, Arizona area. Estimated number of mandays for Line Item I are 24,090 for the base period; 13,140 mandays for the first option year; 13,870 mandays for the second option year and 14,600 mandays for the third option year, (males 76%, females 24%), Line Item II mandays are 24, 090 for the base period; 13,140 for the first option; 13,870 for the second option year and 14,600 for the third option year (males 76%, females 24%). Estimated RFP issue date is December 12, 1996, estimated RFP closing date is January 23, 1997. Contract base period is two years with three one-year options to renew. A requirements contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
