The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Memphis, TN, has a requirement for a Health Services Program Technician. This non-personal services contract position requires a minnimum of two years experience in health care operations with computer experience and be competent with Harvard Graphic Design, Lotus 1, 2, & 3, and Windows '95. This position shall be performed on-site at the FCI. The contract position entails accounting technician functions, to include computer management for budget accounts and data entry, verification of medical bills with DGR/Medicare schedules, consolidating and printing budget reports, and consolidate Chronic Care patient visits and statistical evaluation and data entry concerning Sensitive Medical Data. Due to the nature of this contract, all individuals working within the institution are required to submit to Security Clearances. This will be a competitive procurement with award being made to the offeror determined to be in the best interest of the Government, price and other factors considered. These other factors are Past Performance and Technical. Services will be required approximately 30 sessions per week (1 session = 1 hour), for an estimated 1,560 sessions per year. The Base year of the contract shall run for twelve months from date of award, with four (4) one year option periods for renewal. Solicitation packages will be mailed approximately December 10, 1996, with an approximate due date of January 8, 1996. It is anticipated this will result in a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements type contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
