R -- TECHNICAL EDITING OF NAVY JOURNALS SOL N00014-97-R-RS03 DUE 013196 POC Richard D. Sewell, Contract Specialist, 601-688-5784. The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for technical editing services for the Navy Jounral of Underwater Acoustics (NJUA). This journal is the Navy's vehicle to publicize significant underwater acoustic research and discoveries. General requirements consist of: Contractor shall provide technical editing of the NJUA. Contractor may also be required to provide technical editing services for an anticipated classified remote sensing science and technology journal. Potnetial offerors shall have technical expertise in the fields of underwater acoustics and remote sensing. A SECRET facility clearance shall be required. A contract is anticipated for a period of five years which includes option periods. Options to extend the terms of the contract will be included. Complete specifications will be included with the solicitation package. Prospective vendors should request, in writing, a copy of solicitation/RFP Number N00014-97-R-RS03 to be issued on or about 12/16/1996, with responses due on or about 01/31/1997. Faxed requests for the solicitation will be accepted at FAX number 601-688-6055. All responsible sources responding to the solicitation will be considered.
