procurement, the Coast Guard intends to issue an order to Sikorksy
Aircraft Corporation the OEM for the repair of the following in
accordance with PICA Certifications from NAVCIP, Philadelphia: Clin 1:
NSN 1615-01-158-9679, P/N 70150-29100-041, Blade, Rotary, Wing, Qty 1
each; Clin 2: NSN 1615-01-158-9679, P/N 70150-29100-041, Blade,
Rotary, Wing, Qty 1 each; Clin 3: NSN 1615-01-158-9679, P/N
70150-29100-041, Blade, Rotary, Wing, Qty 1 each; Clin 4: NSN
1615-01-158-9679, P/N 70150-29100-041, Blade, Rotary, Wing, Qty 1 each.
Items are to be delivered to USCG ARSC, Receiving Section, Bldg. 63,
Elizabeth City, NC 27909-5001. Final acceptance shall be at
destination. The Coast Guard does not own, nor can it provide the
specifications necessary to repair these items. Closing date and time
for receipt of offers is 12 December 1996, 3:00pm, Eastern Standard
Time. Facsimile Offers are acceptable and may be forwarded via Fax
Number (919)335-6496. Offerors able to repair these items are
encouraged to submit offers accompanied by sufficient information to
determine responsibility to perform the requirement and a copy of PICA
Certification. FAR provision, 52.212-2 does not apply in that award
will be made to the offerorwho submits the lowest price. ? Offers may
be submitted on company letterhead stationery indicating the
nomenclature, part number, unit price and extended price for the items
offered; plus the FOB point, and any discount offered for prompt
payment, and the business size standard and any minority
classification. The offer must be signed by a company representative
authorized to commit the company. Defense Priorities and Allocations
System Rating: DO-A1. For Minority, Women-Owned and disadvantaged
Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of
Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to
assist minority, women-owned and disadvantage business enterprises to
acquire short-term working capital assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
