55 -- SUPPLY WOOD STAKES FOR TREE PLANTING SOL Sol. No. 7-97-5 DUE 010997 POC Contact Point, Cecilia Rogers, 541/416-6534 This project consists of supply and delivery of approximately 22,800 bundles of 50 each wood stakes with the following dimensions, 3/4'' x 1 1/2'' x 24'' stakes to be used in conjunction with tree planting. This is a combined solicitation between the Deschutes National Forest and the Ochoco National Forest. Bend/Ft Rock District on the Deschutes NF in Bend, Oregon, has an anticipated order of 10,440 bundles with an option for 2,940 additional bundles and to start taking deliveries of 3,360 bundles a week (two deliveries a week commencing 3/17/96). Paulina Ranger District on the Ochoco National Forest has an anticipated order of 6,500 bundles delivered to the Rager Ranger Station approximately 75 miles east of Prineville, OR. Delivery to take place on or before March 15, 1997. March 15 is deadline for delivery, and Snow Mountain Ranger District on the Ochoco National Forest in Hines, Oregon, 130 miles of Prineville, OR. has an anticipated order of 3,000 bundles to the Snow Mountain Ranger District compound in Hines.
