Battery cell content can only be used for the batteries required to use in military transistor radios. The electrochemical, Mercury-Oxide provides a longer life span for the battery, as a result, this requirement does not allow for full and open competition due to above sole manufacturer and authorized manufacturer for mercury-oxide of these dimensions.
