Febach, (301) 975-6326 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to procure services to: A. describe and classify that segment of the ''semiconductor industry'' and its supporting infrastructure involved in metrology development and use for semiconductor research and development (R&D), production and sales; B. Survey and conduct follow-up interviews for a targeted population to collect information regarding the semiconductor industry; C. Write a report based on the information analyzed from the survey, and D. Present a seminar at NIST on the results of the survey. FOB destination Gaithersburg, MD, within 180 days from contract award. Estimated delivery schedule follows: 40 days to develop metrology taxonomy and identify population, 40 days to design and pre-test survey, 40 days to conduct initial survey and perform follow-up telephonic and personal interviews, 40 days to compile data and draft report, 20 days to revise draft, deliver revision to NIST and present the seminar.
