Officer (202) 767-1473. The Naval Research Laboratory is seeking to
locate sources interested in performing software maintenance and
re-engineering work in support of information systems in a DEC VAX VMS.
The operating environment also includes on-line, interactive,
transaction processing applications. Proficiency in Rdb, SQL, and COBOL
is required. Activities will include systems analysis, design, coding,
multilevel testing, documentation, and software quality assurance, all
to be provided on-site. Respondents should address the following
specifics: 1. Does your company have an existing GSA Contract which
covers the scope of work described; a) If so, what is the GSA Contract
Number? b) If not, does your company plan on securing a GSA Contract
in the near future? (If yes, provide anticipated completion date.) 2.
Describe your personnel's expertise in the following VAX environments:
a) OpenVMS, b) OpenVMS AXP for the Alpha and c) Other VAX platform
software. 3. Describe the experience of your personnel who would be
available for assignment as relative to the following types of
automated systems: a) Procurement, b) Financial, c) Inventory and d)
Administrative. 4. Describe the experience of your personnel who would
be available for assignment as relative to the following software: a)
DECforms, b) DTR, c) SQL, d) Rdb and e) COBOL, 5. Describe the
experience and proficiency level of your personnel who would be
available for assignment as relative to the on-line interactive
transaction processing environment. This request is made with the
