L -- ENGINEERING STUDIES, ANALYSIS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE AN/TPS-59 RADAR SOL M67854-97-R-2011 DUE 122096 POC Ms. Kristine Rinaldo, Contract Specialist, 703-784-5822 x224. The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award a new sole source contract for engineering studies, analysis and technical support for the AN/TPS-59 radar and associated equipment to Sensis Corporation, 5793 Widewater Parkway, Dewitt, NY 13214. This contract will support missile defense capability research and development utilizing the AN/TPS-59 radar. Technical requirements will include the ability to operate the Coherent Data Collection System (CDACS), and Portable Autonomous Reports Collection System (PARCS 2000R). Additionally, the ability to modify existing software/firmware, and the ability to reconfigure hardware on the AN/TPS-59 radar and the MultiScan Correlator (MSC) to optimize performance is required. The period of performance will commence approximately 1 May 97 for 15,000 hours of services, with a one year option for another 15,000 hours. No RFP is available for competitive bidding, however interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement. See Numbered Note 22. (0331)
