The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), Point Mugu, CA, intends to procure engineering and technical support for Sea Range Instrumentation Systems. When the requirements of the Test and Evaluation Competency's Pacific Ranges and Facilities Department requires interoperability of Sea Range instrumentation with the Land Range and Electronic Combat Range at China Lake California, NAWCWPNS Detachment at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico and/or Pacific Missile Range Facility, Hawaii, work may be required at those sites. The services shall also include support for internetting and interoperability of NAWCWPNS Range Systems with modeling and simulation laboratories at NAWCWPNS and other government agencies. The contractor shall provide systems engineering and technical support of the acquisition of improvements to Range Instrumentation Systems, engineering and technical support for the planning and evaluating the results of Sea Range operations, and conduct engineering investigations and special engineering studies/analyses to provide support to develop and implement various programs in support of the Sea Range Instrumentation Systems. The requirement will be awarded as a Cost Plus Award Fee, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract using best value source selection. The period of performance will be one year with four one-year options.
