The Defense Systems Management College (DSMC) has a requirement for a series of tasks for Acquisition Reform technical support in the curriculum of DSMC Acquisition Management Courses, to participate in the presentation of such causes, to lecture and to support in policy development in order to keep all DSMC courses and services up-to-date with Acquisition Reform initiatives. Examples of tasks include: briefings on Acquisition Reform during DSMC courses, insure that DSMC course curriculum is updated based on Acquisition Reform changes, coordinate and participate as needed in DoD Acquisition Reform roadshows, archive Acquisition Reform legislation in the DSMC Acquisition Historical files, and provide DSMC coordination on Acquisition Reform issues with Congressional committees, OSD, agencies, and private sector industry representatives. The Contractor must have experience in Acquisition Reform Legislation and issues, presentation of briefings to senior personnel, have an advanced degree in a field related to disciplines in acquisition management, and have taught, lectured, or presented seminars above the college undergraduate level on Acquisition Reform subjects. Contract period of performance is estimated to be from 1 January 1, 1997 through 30 September 1997 with four (4) Option Years, each 12 months in duration if exercised.
