The work to be performed under this project involves reroofing of multi-level roofs up to three stories high; including, but not limited to the following; approx. 5,750 GSF of existing built-up roof replacement with new asphalt roof, approx. 25,000 GSF of existing multilevel built-up roofs replacement with built-up Coal-Tar roofs, remove some minor quantities of of asbestos containing materials in the form of roof flashing, new flashing/sheetmetal and coping, new rainleaders and downspouts, new tapered roof insulation, new curbs for mechanical equipment, removal and reinstallation of certain pieces of mechanical equipment at the Jacksonville Job Corps Center located in Jacksonville, Florida. The estimated cost range for construction is between $250,000 to $500,000. Plans and specifications will be available on December 17, 1996 ONLY from the office of Brame Poole Architects, 606 N.E. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges. A Pre-bid walk-through is scheduled for January 7, 1997, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
