Z -- REPAIR, REHABILITATION, AND MARKING OF ROADS AND PARKING AREAS SOL DACW39-97-B-0001 DUE 011497 POC Contract Specialist Tommy James (601)634-3171 (Site Code DACW39) Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to repair and rehabilitate the roads and parking lots at the U.S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station, Vicksburg, MS. Phase I of the project shall commence on or about March 15, 1997 and will include flexible pavement construction, full-depth asphalt patching, milling, and asphaltic concrete overlay. Approximate requirements: 400 square feet of patch and overlay, 36,000 square feet of asphalt patch, 32,000 square feet of uniform overlay, 18.000 square feet of pavement removal and replacement, and 13,000 square feet of mill and overlay work. Phase II shall commence on or about August 1, 1997 and requires slurry seal and pavement marking on approximately eight miles of paved roads. The total estimated cost of this construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Government reserves the right to award Phase I and Phase II by the item or as a whole.
