This Market Survey (Sources Sought) required by FAR, announces that the U.S. Government contemplates procuring, for FMS purposes, 74 each M3P Machine Guns, part number 13264604, with associated Accessory Kits, part number 13264600-900 (consisting of Remote Charger P/N 3645012010, Elastic Cradle P/N 3644012010, Boresight Equipment P/N 3642501019, and Ammo Box P/N 13264605) and Machine Gun Tool Kits (consisting of Go/No-Go Gauge P/N 3649970025, Head Space & Timing Gauge P/N 3529110016, Handle P/N 3662004576, and Safety Rod & Accessories P/N 3530060001). The only known producer of these products, Fabrique Nationale Nouvelle Herstal (Columbia, South Carolina) uses a proprietary Technical Data Package. The U.S Government has determined that it is not cost effective to purchase the rights for the Technical Data Package and therefore the TDP IS NOT AVAILABLE FROM THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. The U.S. Government is seeking producers who have documented rights to the Technical Data Package, referenced above, and may be interested in supplying these products. Note 22 applies. (0332)
