This effort is for research and assessments in support of the Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) responsibility to provide technical support to the Nuclear Weapons Council, the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Weapons, The Joint Staff, the services and the U.S. Strategic Command in the area of stockpile stewardship. The effort will require research, analysis, and assessments related to Nuclear Weapon System (Warhead and Delivery Vehicle) stockpile stewardship programs and issues. The contract will be an indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type contract with multiple awards anticipated. The duration of the effort is estimated to be sixty months.
