The contractor shall provide an upgrade of the Trident Fire Control Powertest Model 8000 adapters to interface with the new 8100 powertester. Negotiations will be conducted with Lockheed Martin Defense Systems, Pittsfield, MA. Lockheed Martin is the sole manufacturer of the FBM Fire Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge and in-place capability to perform the required effort. See Note 22.
