The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) hereby gives notice of its intent to issue a sole source purchase order under a simplified acquisition procedures to Mircosoft Corporation for a Master Services Agreement and the Premier Support Services for the Microsoft Software Program. Services to include technical support incidents, a Service desk (World Wide Web site exclusive to Premier customers), early assist (phone beta support for products on the Microsoft Marketing Beta CD-ROM), licenses to access the Premier Web Site (allowing electronic incident submission), a single services (unlimited user license to CD Subscription), membership to the MS Developr CD Subscription, escalation management, orientation & planning conference, annual support checkup and evaluation, customer profile, support plan, support ability review, up to 4 hours/month of support ability consulting and monthly status meetings via telephone (monthly usage report provided). No solicitation document exists. Prospective contractors should subit cost and technical data to be evaluated. Interested firms must indicate their ability to satisfy the requirements within 15 days of this notice. Interested firms will be considered only if they respond with clear and convincing documentation that they are capable of meeting or exceeding the requirement stated herein at a cost sufficiently more advantageous than the contractor named. If no response is received within 15 days of this announcement, an award will be made to Microsoft Corporation.
