Project consists of controlling pocket gopher damage to conifer seedlings using strychnine-treated grain on approximately 2,02 acres throughout the Salmon River District of the Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Planned treatment will occur in September, October and November, depending on favorable weather conditions. The project would consist of one to three separate treatments. Contract time: 294 calendar days. Date for receipt of bids has not been established, but is estimated to be in early August, 1996.
