The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor and material in performing all operations in connection with construction to the existing Field Training Facility, Building 210. The work includes the addition of approximately 10,155 SF building to the existing building, selective demolition, site work and improvements, steel framing, masonry, roofing system, interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, fire sprinkler system, sound and fire alarm systems, and all other described work to provide a complete project. Estimated magnitude of work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about January 9, 1997 at a cost of $78.50 for solicitation and full size drawings; $44.00 for solicitation only (no half size drawings are available). Charges are NONREFUNDABLE. Solicitation documents will be made available upon written request to include check or money order payable to FAO, U. S. Army, LRD, and mailed to Contracting Division at the above address. In order to recieve documents in a timely manner, requests should be received by January 2, 1997. If a subcontracting plan is required, the following minimum subcontracting goals for the Little Rock District will be applicable: 55% of the contractor's total intended subcontracted amount be placed with Small Businesses (including small disadvantaged and woman-owned businesses); 9% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with small disadvantaged businesses; 3% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with woman-owned small businesses; and 5% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with historically black colleges or universities/minority institutions.
