C -- FEMALE PATIENT PRIVACY/HC DEFICIENCIES SOL RFP 546-37-97 DUE 121996 POC Rose Wildgoose (305)324-3284 Professional Architect/Engineer services to perform field and Design investigation, construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates and construction period service to correct deficiencies related to Female Patient Privacy. Renovate twenty (20) rooms in Buildings One and Ten. Work will include renovating bath and vanity areas, replacing tubs with shower. Convert a non-private room to semi-private rooms with private shower, toilet and sink. In Building Ten, design a small lounge area. In Building One, renovate a minimum of twenty (20) patient bathrooms to meet the requirements of the American's with Disabilities Act, or the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards; whichever is more stringent. All renovations will include new finishes on walls, floors and ceilings. Architectural, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing disciplines will be required. All work will be done in accordance with the A/E Statement of Task. All responsible sources will be considered. Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 8712. Architectural Services applies to this acquisition and the small business size determination is NTE $2.5 million in average annual receipts during the preceding three fiscal years. Construction cost is estimated to range between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
