744-2576. Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to open
No. 14 cylinder unit of an Enterprise R5-V16 Diesel Engine, perform a
precision alignment procedure to establish concentricity of the
cylinder liner to frame bore and crankshaft. Remove the existing lower
cylinder liner landing insert. Alignment is to be performed with
optical precision jig transit. Using alignment data obtained during the
``as found'' condition, manufacture and install a new lower cylinder
insert. Re-installation will require an additional precision alignment
be performed. Reassemble the engine and test in accordance with the
original manufacturer's technical manual to prove all work free of
defects. Work location will be aboard the vessel at its mooring at the
California Maritime Academy, Vallejo, CA. Any interested firm may
request a copy of the solicitation for work on this vessel and all
responsible offerors may submit bids which shall be considered by the

to be eligible for award under this solicitation offerors must: Be
holders of the Marad Master Lump Sum Repair Agreement (MLSRA) or shall
apply for and agree to the terms and conditions of the MLSRA. Offerors
may accept the MLSRA with their bid: non holders shall provide all
annual representations and certifications as required by the MLSRA.
