construction of: a. One 300 Room Barracks, approximately 200,000 square
feet, b. Two Medium Company Operations and supply Buildings,
approximately 15,000 square feet each, c. One Large Company Operations
and Supply Building, approximately 22,000 square feet, d. Three
Battalion Headquarters and Classroom Buildings, approximately 15,000
square feet each, e. One Brigade Command and Control Building,
approximately 12,000 square feet, f. One Dining Facility, approximately
15,000 square feet, g. One Guard House, approximately 400 square feet,
h. Approximately 3 miles of new road and widening of existing roads.
Work includes concrete foundations and slabs on grade, brick veneer,
concrete block, metal floor and roof decks, structural metal stud
framing, sheet metal sheer wall construction, structural steel, steel
joists, fiber cement shingle roofs, concrete tile roofs, exterior
insulated finish system, rigid insulation, batt insulation, steel
doors, wood doors, windows, carpet, vinyl wall covering, ceramic tile,
quarry tile, resilient flooring, metal lockers, food service
equipment, underground fuel storage tanks, boilers, waterheaters,
piping, ductwork, controls, lighting, wiring, transformers, public
address system, electronic locking system, and intrusion detection
systems. Utility installations include water, storm sewer, sanitary
sewer, medium and low voltage electrical distribution, and
telecommunications lines. Site improvements consist of landscaping,
irrigation, site grading, retaining walls, picnic shelters, exterior
lighting, bike racks, concrete pavers, concrete and asphalt paving,
signage, and pavement marking. Plans and specs available on or about 16
Jan 97 at no charge per set. No individual sheets are available.
Documents will be issued on a first come, first served basis until
supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Refer to IFB Number
DACA67-97-B-0017 when ordering. Requests must be in writing and must be
received before bid documents will be mailed. Requests may be FAXed to

confirmation copy need not be mailed. Please be sure to include if you
are a Prime Contractor, Sub-Contractor or Plans Room. Plans and specs
may be picked up from the Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the
hours of 7:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Submit requests by 10 Jan 97.
Estimated dollar value is estimated at over $10,000,000 and completion
period is 720 days. Standard Industrial Classification Code 1522.
Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large
business and your bid or proposal will exceed $1,000,000 you will be
required to submit a subcontracting plan. For the purposes of this
procurement a concern is considered a small business if its average
