This requires the cleaning and applying of protective coating to previously coated surfaces. The previous coating contains lead-based paint and will require containment areas during the removal process. Special handling of the lead waste stream is required. The contract performance period will be 180 calendar days after issuance of notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Any responsible source may submit a bid which shall be considered. Firms responding to this synopsis should do so in writing and indicate whether or not they are a minority business concern.
