THE INTERNET The Federal Acquisition Jumpstation, a site on the
Internet provides over 75 hotlinks to federal contracting activities
and other sources of federal procurement information throughout the
United States. In light of the numerous Internet sites serving
procurement data and the expected growth in the number of participating
agencies, NASA in cooperation with the Office of Federal Procurement
Policy and the Federal Aviation Administration, established the
Internet jumpstation as a doorway for the business community to quickly
locate all sources of federal procurement information. New links
routinely added as additional federal procurement sites appear on the
Internet. The jumpstation is a World-Wide Web site, which can be
accessed using an Internet browser. The Uniform Resource Locator (URL),
or "Internet address" is
