The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Acquisition Group, Hampton Roads Detachment, Norfolk, Virginia is soliciting proposals on a full and open competition basis for services to operate, maintain and repair four each Military Sealift Command underwater vehicles. The underwater vehicles consist of a sea plow, sea tractor, and two remote controlled vehicles which are used to repair, maintain and bury submarine cable systems. Services are for a base year with the option to procure services for four additional one-year option periods. Anticipated start date for the contract is 01 June 1997. A site visit and pre-proposal conference will be held, date and time to be specified in the solicitation.
