This project is set aside for 8(a) contractors. All 8(a) must submit their 8(a) certification with their request for a bid package. The work consists of but is not limited to the following: Demolition of all non-structural elements in the existing buildings and their replacement with new interior and exterior work to renovate the existing six-person barracks style dormitory modules to four-person apartment style modules. The specifications and drawings will specify work in detail. Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1522. The small business size standard for a concern, including its affiliates, is not to exceed $17 million in average annual receipts for its preceding 3 fiscal years. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Total contract performance period is 365 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Interested 8(a) firms should respond as early as possible but no later than 24 Jan 97. Plans and specifications will be furnished on a first come first serve basis.
