One configured to run European Standard x-ray inserts and one configured to run G.E. style x-ray tubes; CLIN 0002 is TWO EA. high voltage cables and pogo stick adapters, (one for each power supply above); CLIN 0003 is ONE EA tube shield with 2 auto shutters; CLIN 0004 is ONE EA. horizontal tube shield mount for x-ray tube; CLIN 0005 is ONE EA. 2-port shutter control for x-ray tube; CLIN 0006 is ONE EA. D7600GXXRT-AEG (or equal) copper target x-ray tube; CLIN 0007 is ONE EA. dual circuit haskris (or equal), (one circuit each power supply); CLIN 0008 is total Installation cost, to be quoted as ONE JOB. The items above have been identified by a "brand name or equal" description, which is intended to be descriptive, but not restrictive, and is to indicate the quality and characteristics of products that will be satisfactory. Quotations offering "equal" products will be considered for award. The quotation must list the manufacturer or brand name and model of the item. This solicitation requires the submission of descriptive literature. Manufacturer's sales literature or other documentation shall be provided to show that offered product(s) meet or exceed requirements as specified in the specifications above. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to NIST in Gaithersburg, MD, within 45 days of contract award. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 53SBNB760038 is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable SIC code is 5049, with a size standard of 500 employees. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer.
