The Naval Sea Systems Command, Code 03M1 (NAVSEA) is looking for sources that can provide thermoplastic coastings, that can meet the following required general characteristics: The thermoplastic resin must contain Ethylene Acrylic Acid (EAA) as a copolymer or Ethylene Methacrylic Acid (EMAA) as a copolymer. Any offeror having an item which meets the above characteristics in whole or part should submit the following info: Thermoplastic resin description, Commercial literature, Material safety data sheet, and Performance data which addresses performance characteristics such as, Impact, Salt spray, Weathering, Chemical resistance, Flexibility, Shore D hardness, Gloss, Surface appearance, Adhesion, Specific gravity, Pre-heat/Post-heat, Melting point and if a primer is required.
