(919) 541-0429 Small Business sources are sought to establish and
maintain a center to organize and support assessments of human
developmental and reproductive hazards that result from exposure to
chemicals or chemical mixtures, and to identify exposure-specific
research and testing needs for data that would reduce the uncertainties
in these assessments. The Center will initially be established through
an NIEHS contract, with a goal of developing into an independent
organization. Duties of the Contractor shall include maintaining
registry of experts, organizing meetings of Expert Panels, conducting
literature searches, and obtaining literatures. This Center shall also
be responsible for the preparation, publication, and distribution of
reports. This contract is expected to cover a five-year performance
period. The contract will be a level-of-effort, term-form cost
reimbursement type contract. It is estimated that approximately 4
person years of effort will be required each contract year; senior
reproductive toxicologist, toxicologist, and management coordinator --
100%; information specialist and computer specialist shall be
available 75% and 25%, respectively. Mandatory Requirement: All
personnel shall be key personnel and shall be employees of the
Contractor. Small Business concerns having research and development
capabilities in this field and facilities for the performance of this
work are invited to submit a summary of qualifications to the procuring
office listed in this notice with 20 calendar days from the date of
this notice. Information furnished should include the professional
qualifications of all personnel (to include publications in
peer-reviewed journals, public relations/public speaking
skills/scientific writing/editorial skills, experience with data bases
in order to maintain a Website on the Internet on Center activities
and publications); a description of the facilities; outline of previous
projects similar to this that have been conducted by your organization;
and other available descriptive literature. Requests must reference
