This project consists of maintenance dredging and dispoal of dredged material by hydraulic dredge and pipeline from portions of Rudee Inlet Channel, Sand Trap and Safety Area to a required depth of 7 feet MLLW (NOS) within Safety Area with an allowable overdepth of one foot, to required depths of 11 and 12 feet MLLW (NOS) within the Entrance Channel with an allowable overdepth of two feet, and to a required depth of 18 feet within the Sand Trap with an allowable overdepth of two feet. Dredged material shall be placed in the designated Government-furnished unconfined oceanfront placement site only. The work involves dredging approximately 103,400 cubic yards of material, including 24,000 cubic yards of estimated accretion from the survey dates to April 1997 and 24,000 cubic yards of allowable overdepths. Magnitude of project is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Duration of the project is 60 calendar days. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. SIC Code 1629 applies.
