The proposed contract action shall furnish the personnel, facilities, supplies and services necessary to accomplish the System Engineering, Configuration Management, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Quality Assurance, Packaging, Standardization and various related technical support for the M109 Family of vehicles, which includes the M109A2-A5 155mm Self Propelled Howitzer, the M109A6 Paladin 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer, and the M992 Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicle (FAASV). The Systems Technical Support (STS) includes maintenance of the entire Technical Data Package (TDP); preparation, generation, and incorporation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs); maintenance, upgrade, and publication of Technical Manuals; and performance of all Engineering Work Directives (EWDs) and engineering studies, for the US Army, as well as for foreign government. Proposed contract will be for three years with two one year options included. For use on the M109 Family of Vehicles. All or part of this actions is an unfunded FY97 requirement.
