The Maintenance and Logistic Command Pacific Area is proposing a contract for the Drydocking and Repairs of the USCGC TYBEE homeported San Diego, CA. The work shall be performed at the contractor's facility. The period of performance starts 05 May thru 13 June 1997. Major work items include but are not limited to: temporary services, drydocking/hauling, underwater body preservation (100%), sea valve overhaul, rigid hull inflatable davit quadrennial overhaul, fin stablilizer system quadrennial overhaul, f/o and waste oil tank cleaning & inspection, electric motor overhaul, steering gear hydraulic overhaul, halon system co2 actuation hose replacement, strut cofferdam preservation, starboard propeller renewal, weather deck preservation, engineroom insulation renewal, fire pump overhaul, sewage pump overhaul, fathometer transducer renewal and etc. The solicitation will be issued on or about 27 Jan 1997.
