C -- AMBULATORY CARE EXPANSION, PHASE II SOL 544-028-97 DUE 020797 POC Contract Specialist, Virgil Thompson, (803) 695-6783 Furnish professional Architect/Engineer Services to include professional services for advance planning and design for all work associated with Project # 544-302, "Ambulatory Care Expansion, Phase II" at WJBD Veterans' Hospital, Columbia, South Carolina 29209. This project will construct a second story on the existing Building 100A to contain outpatient support services, GU, GYN, Opthalmology, Optometry, and ENT Clinics. The project will include installation of an elevator (basement to 2nd floor). Construction will be phased to minimize disruptions to the operations of the Medical Center. Construction Cost Range is $2,000,000 -- $5,000,000. A/E will be required to provide evidence of professional liability insurance of $1,000,000. Interested firms desiring consideration shall submit appropriate data in numbered Note 24 to the Contracting Officer (90C), A&FP Service, Dorn Veterans' Hospital, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209 not later than February 4, 1997.
