Ko, Contracting Officer (757) 628-4645 Provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform drydock repairs including, but not limited to, the following Minimum Items: 1) Inspect/Repair Skeg Top Plate in Engine Room, 2) Clean/Inspect Bulkhead 28 Plating, 3) Renew Potable Water Tank Bulkhead Plating, 4) Renew Foreward Grey Water Tank Plating, 5) Renew Grey Water Shut-Off Valve, 6) Fabricate/Install Bronze Sleeves, 7) Remove/Inspect/Reinstall/Repair Propeller Shafts, 8) Renew Stern Tube, 9) Renew Water Lubricated Propeller Shaft Bearings, 10) Renew Propulsion Shaft Strut Nuts, 11) Furnish Propulsion Shaft Strut Bolts, 12) Remove/Reinstall Propellers, 13) Repair Propeller Root Erosion, 14) Inspect MDE Exhaust Flapper Valves & MDE Exhaust Piping and Preserve Transducer Hull Rings & Renew Depth Indicating Transducers, 15) Overhaul/Renew/Test Valves, 16) Inspect/Overhaul Duplex Sea Strainers, 17) Clean/Inspect Diesel Fuel Waste Oil Tanks, 18) Remove/Renew/Reinstall Rudders/Rudder Bearings, 19) Overhaul Stabilizing Fins, 20) Renew Lower Fin Stock Bearing, 21) Blast and Preserve Forepeak Compartment, 22) Prepare & Prime Weather Deck Surfaces, 23) Preserve Bilge Area below Fin Stabilizer & Preserve Underwater Body, 24) Preserve Freeboard, 25) Clean/Inspect Sewage & Grey Water Collection and Holding Tanks, 26) Clean/Inspect & Disinfect Potable Water Tanks, 27) Preserve all "White Exterior Surfaces", 28) Inspect/Maintain Cathodic Protection System, 29) Provide Temporary Messing/Berthing/Logistics, 30) Reconfigure & Renovate MESS area, 31) Routine Drydocking, etc. Indefinite Item include, but are not limited to: 1) Welding Repairs, 2) Straighten/Repair Propeller Shaft, 3) Underwater Body Preservation, 4) Renew Reference Electrode/Cathodic Anode/Fairing, 5) Ultrasonic Testing, etc. Vessels' homeport is Miami Beach, FL. Vessels' availabilities are April 21 1997 for USCGC FARALLON and August 11 1997 for USCGC MATAGORDA, each for 42 days. The places of performance are unrestricted. There will be a nonrefundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All other referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. Funds are not presently available for this procurement. The government's obligation under this solicitation is contingent upon availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contractual purposes can be made. The proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 17 January 1997. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States coast Guard.
