Scope of Services: the proposed contract provides for installation support services for Rock Island Arsenal and it tenant activities. The services involve maintenance, repair, support, and upkeep rquired for installation operation. The functions include management and utilzation of pertinent plant, administrative, and logistical support under Public Works Directorate at Rock Island Arsenal. Functions within Public Works include, Electric Plant, Heatng Plant, Water Plant, Sewage and Waste Treatment Plant, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Plants, Building and Structures, Roads and Grounds, Railroad Facilities, Pest Control, Bridge Operations, Air Compressor Plant, Family Housing and other Engineering Services. A site visit will be held in conjunction with a pre-proposal conference which will be announced at a later date. Since significant subcontracting opportunties exist, it is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement make direct contact with prospective prime contractors early in the procurement stages. All responsible sources my submit a proposal which shall be considered. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price with some items being Cost Reimbursable. Performance Period is 01 Oct 97 thru 30 Sep 98.
